In late-'90s Los Angeles, aimless skater and aspiring artist Lucky (Lucky Fate) is caught between the makeshift family he's found in the city's underground scene and the possibility of a better life. With his friend Paul (Nathan Bronson) facing jail, Lucky considers taking over Paul's risky business despite warnings from their friends Kim (Charlotte Sins), Robby (Robby Apples), Lilly (Lilly Bell), and Vanna (Vanna Bardot).

Things become even more complicated when Lucky reconnects with his old high-school friend Morgan Davis (Maya Woulfe), rekindling a romance that offers him a glimpse of a different future. Meanwhile, his troubled relationship with his parent, Tommy (Tommy Pistol), reaches a breaking point, even as Tommy's girlfriend Vicki (Vicki Chase) finds herself caught on the sidelines of their strained family dynamic. Lucky soon discovers that Tommy has a surprising connection to the very world he's trying to enter.

Against a backdrop of skateparks, warehouse parties, friendship, romance, and youthful rebellion, Lucky discovers that changing his luck may ultimately mean finding the courage to change his life.
